Abstract Title: Research progress on the application of a decision aided tool in surgical nursing system

Biography:

Xinyi Shen holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and completed her bachelor’s studies at Wenzhou Medical University and Thomas University. She has been affiliated with the National Clinical Research Center for Ocular Diseases and the Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and is currently working at Funing People’s Hospital.

Her research focuses on ocular surface microorganisms, microbial aerosols, and infection prevention during non-contact tonometry measurements. Part of her research has been published in BMC Ophthalmology, including studies on ocular surface microbial sampling and aerosolization during non-contact tonometer measurements. She also developed a novel nanomaterial baffle designed to reduce microbial aerosols during tonometry procedures which was published in the Russian Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology.

Xinyi Shen has been granted three patents related to innovative ocular microbial sampling devices and protective baffles aimed at reducing pathogenic microorganism exposure during ophthalmic examinations.
